Field of activity

Igor Sowa works mainly in the area of monitoring and control in distribution networks and microgrids. His current research areas include the evolution of monitoring and automation in modern power systems and the impact of communication technologies on the stability of the power system.

Vita

Igor Sowa received his degrees in electrical engineering, B.Sc. from AGH Krakow and M.Sc. degrees from UPC Barcelona and KTH Stockholm, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. In 2016, he joined the Institute for Complex Power Systems at RWTH University in Aachen, Germany as a Research Associate.
