Field of activity
Alexander Kümpel works on intelligent and innovative control concepts for building energy systems. His research focus is the development of energy-efficient control strategies for modular subsystems as well as for overall energy supply systems. Both the simulation and the experiment are considered to develop and evaluate the control strategies.
Vita
Alexander Kümpel studied mechanical in bachelor's degree and energy engineering in master's degree at the RWTH Aachen University from 2011 to 2017. Since March 2017, he has been working as a research associate at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at the RWTH Aachen University.
